The Krugerrand is the bullion coin issued by the South African Mint and the Rand Refinery. The silver version of the popular Gold Krugerrand, this coin was initially released as a limited production piece. Due to extreme demand, the South African Silver Krugerrand is now available as a standard bullion coin.

Seasoned investors will recognized this coin – the obverse features the effigy of Paul Kruger, while the reverse highlights the springbok antelope.
