* IMPORTANT! 

ALL ORDERS ARE FINAL AS YOU HAVE MADE A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT WITH THE DURHAM PRECIOUS METALS PLATFORM. THIS BINDING AGREEMENT APPLIES WHETHER YOU ARE BUYING OR SELLING TO US.

Your purchase price is locked in at the time we receive your order. To avoid any cancelation fees, please satisfy your obligations by sending your payments within the time frame according to the payment option you choose below. All orders are final as you have made a binding agreement with DPM’s Trading Platform.

If DPM does not receive your payment within the allotted time frame a $100 Cancellation fee will be applied to your credit card along with any market loss that DPM incurs. This binding agreement applies whether you are buying from us or selling to us.

Payments for Online Orders

1) Bank Wire

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IMMEDIATELY AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER.
* Note: No limit

DPM accepts bank wires from any financial institution. Please refer to your confirmation email for payment details. ALL BANK WIRES MUST BE COMPLETED IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION. DO NOT PLACE YOUR ORDER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO IMMEDIATELY GO TO YOUR BANK TO COMPLETE THE WIRE PAYMENT. DPM requires a credit card to ‘LOCK-IN’ your pricing. See bottom of page for credit card details, and refer to your conformation email for payment instructions.

2) Interac E-Transfer / Email Money Transfer (EMT)

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IMMEDIATELY AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER.
* Note: E-transfer is available for online orders up to $3,000

To send an Interac E-Transfer, all you need is an email address, online access to your bank account and our email address.

Orders up to $3000 depending on your account. You can contact your bank for a temporary increase to place a larger order (Clearing time 1-2 days)

Instructions

  • Log into your online bank account.
  • Select Interac E-Transfer
  • Select Send Money
  • If this is your first time purchasing with Durham Precious Metals then select “add a new recipient”
  • Use the name PAYDPM and the E-mail [email protected]
  • Message to recipient and security question is NOT necessary, however if you feel you would like to send one, please let us know the answer to the security question by Email. Note* If entering a security question processing your order will take longer.
  • Fill in the amount to be transferred.
  • Follow the instructions to confirm the information and complete the transfer.
  • We will then receive an email within 2 hours that your payment is available for us to deposit into our account. Once we receive and clear the funds we will ship your product.
  • Usually takes 24-48 hrs to clear funds and ship product.
  • If you reach your bank’s e-Transfer limit, increase your limit, send multiple payments or use a different payment type.

Payments for In-Store Purchases / Orders

1) Cash

If you’d like you can come into our brick and mortar store, place an order and immediately go to your bank and pay by bank wire. Click link below for bank wire instructions. 

3) Personal Cheque:

DPM accepts personal cheques in our Retail store. If the cheques are drawn from a Canadian financial institution, they are held for a minimum of 7 business days for clearance. We will notify you when your order is ready for pick-up. DPM reserves the right to Void/Cancel any agreement if we find any errors, or issues of any kind, including financial. If the price of metals INCREASES beyond $40 before your payment is cleared, DPM reserves the right to add that additional cost to your order, and that payment will be required upon pick-up.

We DO NOT Accept the Following Payment Methods

  • Direct deposits
  • Third party cheques and payments
  • Bill payments
  • Bank draft / money order

Credit Card Needed To Lock In Price

*Important: All orders are final as you have made a legally binding agreement with the Durham Precious Metals platform. This binding agreement applies whether you are buying or selling to us.

We will place a HOLD of $200 on your credit card until full payment is received. Once your payment is received, your credit card HOLD will be lifted within 5-7 days.

IF YOU EXIT THE CHECKOUT PAGE BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ORDER YOU WILL BE ASKED FOR ANOTHER CREDIT CARD HOLD OF $200 (so be sure you have finished shopping before going to the checkout page!).

Your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED for the amount of your purchase, it is just a 5-7 day HOLD. We do not accept credit cards as a payment method, instead you will be required to remit your payment to us with one of our chosen methods.
